This live-streamed, step-by-step class is aimed at keen cooks who have a passion for making gyoza from scratch! When it comes to making gyoza, we normally use ready-made wrappers to wrap homemade fillings. As you could struggle to find them and would have to travel to specialised shops to buy them… why not make your own from scratch with this class! With our Atsuko’s Japanese Kitchen cookbook author Atsuko, you will learn how to roll and shape your own fresh gyoza wrappers and stuff them with delicious filling made with tofu. You will also learn how to prepare la-yu spicy sesame chilli oil dipping sauce and wasabi edamame as a snack! You could prepare a chilled beer or your favourite drink to cheer your labour with your mouth full of gyoza in the end!

  • Hand-made gyoza wrappers (30 wrappers)
  • Tofu, shiitake mushroom and quinoa gyoza
  • Home-made la-yu (spicy sesame oil) dipping sauce
  • Wasabi edamame

After you have booked

You will receive an email detailing all the necessary ingredients and equipment, as well as recipes prior to the class. You will be provided with links where you can easily shop for everything online if you wish to do so. We advise to book your online class one week in advance to allow yourself enough time to buy all the ingredients and have them delivered to your door.

During your online class

Our professional chef Atsuko will start the online class by introducing the ingredients, she will then share her secrets with you during the cooking session, and finally you will eat what you have made! The menu in this class is based on 4 portions so it will be enough to feed your family, friends and/or partner!
