At Atsuko's Kitchen, we learn about five fundamental Japanese seasonings and how to integrate them in traditional home-style Japanese cooking to make healthy and tasty meals in a simple way. You will be introduced to several recipes and techniques as we cook along.
This course is designed for beginners, but I also run an advanced version. You will not only learn great recipes but also the many Japanese century-old techniques and use them with everyday ingredients so that you always know what to cook.
The classes are set in a friendly and informal atmosphere. My approach is practical and we will cook together from the first hour.

Thank you very much for your kind, clarifying and sweet teachings. We all learned a lot of new things about Japanese cooking and culture at the same time, all of them very interesting. It has been a lot of fun in preparing, cutting, chopping grinding and cooking all these wonderful foods, but the best part was eating them at the end of the class! Not all Japanese cooking is just sushi, you have a great variety of dishes, all incredible tasty.
Coming from a country like Catalonia-Spain, where we enjoy so much eating, it has been a pleasure to learn and eat all these recipes.
