Come and discover the delicious tastes of Sake and Japas! A professional sake sommelier Natsuki will be invited as a guest tutor to guide you through the tasting of five different kinds of specially imported high-quality sake, which will be served with their pairing Japas, our very own Japanese take on Spanish tapas! You will be given a general presentation on sake and we’ll continue on with a casual and fun tasting of both the drinks and food!

Japas Menu: five-courses Japas dish matched with each sake *vegetarian potions are available, please let us know.
About Natsuki: A professional sake sommelier *Winner of Sake Communicator Award 2011 by IWC (Internatioanl Wine Challenge)
Born in Chiba, Japan. Her mother came from a Sake brewery family in Akita, and father from a Buddhist temple in Toyama prefecture.Therefore she was surrounded by Sake bottles and Buddhist chants around when grew up. Ever since she had met the most wonderful shining stars in the sky and in children’s eyes in Thailand when 16 years old, She has been walking across the borders of over 20 countries. From 2009, She jumped into Sake world, to trace the paths of her ancestors. She had worked at Zuma restaurant in Knightsbridge London and now she is a head Sake sommelier at its sister restaurant named Roka in Charlotte Street and Canary Wharf. Natsuki’s Blog

Q. I would like to book a class as a gift for someone – is this possible?
Yes, you can book either an individual space in a group session, or a private lesson. Please contact us for availability.
Q. Will it be a problem if I miss a class in the course?
If there is availability you can take a class in another course. However, please contact us if you wish to cancel, at least seven days in advance, so that we can prepare for the correct numbers. Unfortunately no refund will be given you cancel of a confirmed booking less than seven days before the class/event.
Q. Do you have vegetarian dishes available?
Yes – When there is a mixed class, we will cook vegetarian dishes separately. Please advise us of your food preferences when you book the course. There are many Buddhist dishes that use soy in place of meat or fish – this type of cooking is called syo-jin ryouri.
Q. I would like to arrange a special event for a group. Is this possible?
Yes – For a one-off session of 2.5 hours you can choose the dishes you would like to learn, then eat afterwards. Sake or Japanese tea can also be arranged. This is quite popular for team / corporate events, social occasions and celebrations. Please contact us for pricing based on numbers.
